Under Florida law, voter registration information and records are public record. There are exceptions under section 97.0585, Fla. Stat. For example, your social security number, Florida driver’s license number or Florida identification card number that may appear in your voter registration record cannot be disclosed to the public. In addition, the law allows certain classes of persons to request that their address or other identification information in their voter registration records within the Florida Voter Registration System not be publicly disclosed. Please see Voter Information Exemption form to determine if you are eligible and to submit a written request.
As of July 1, 2021, written requests for exemption of information must be notarized.
