Any eligible person may register either (a) online or (b) by mail by the deadline (29 days prior to any election).
IMPORTANT! IF YOU REGISTER ONLINE, then you are NOT automatically scheduled to have ballots sent to you. If you would like vote-by-mail ballots sent to you, then you will need to request them after you register to vote.

(2) you would like to register to vote (this form will NOT serve as a ballot request.)
IF YOU ARE NOT living overseas, and IF YOU ARE NOT a member of the uniformed services, a dependent, or a spouse, you may still register to vote and request vote-by-mail ballots. You may also get help from our office.

Q: If I register as “Independent,” does that mean I can vote for anyone in a Florida primary election?
A: NO. To vote in a Florida primary election, you must be registered as the same party of the candidate for whom you would like to vote.
Q: What if I do not have a Florida Driver License or Florida Identification card?
A: You may use the last four digits of your Social Security number in the box asking for Florida Driver License number, Florida Identification card number, or Social Security number.
VOTING RESIDENCE ADDRESS
Q. What should I use for voting residence address?
A. For your voting residence, you may use either an address where you have lived and plan to return to, or, if you are not currently maintaining a residence address within Duval County, and if you are temporarily living outside Duval County, then you may use the address of the Supervisor of Elections: 105 East Monroe Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. IMPORTANT!! If you use 105 East Monroe Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202, as your voting residence address, you MUST provide a mailing address outside Duval County.
